Snapshot Writing

Football

The goalposts are as white as the puffy clouds in the sky. The coaches box is as loud as the roaring crowd in the seats. The frost on the grownd is as icy cold as an icerink.

Movies

When i walk into the cinema, i can see the huge line for the tickets. It was like the crowd at the footy. I carfully walk into the cinama room grab my 3D glasses and take a seat. I can smell the popping popcorn behind me, the lights turn of and i am ready.

Surfing

I was paddling out Juc, it was crisp cold loke a snowman. The waves were as soft as a fluffy teddybear. i got to my takeoff position and sat there. I look at this wave it was a good  one i start paddling for it, i takeoff as the waves whitewash gives me a little bump. The offshore breeze rushes to my face and through my hair i kick out and paddle out again.

Creation Stories

Feedback by Daniel:

Indi could of used his time a little bit better and he could of put all of the stories into his own words instead of just copying them down. Indi an alright amount of work but still could of done better and more. he completed three stories but didn’t do similarities and differences.

Persuasive Writing – Goals

Goal – improve my supportive evidence

Learning Objective – we are learning to use supportive evidence in our persuasive writing.

Success Criteria – we will be successful when we thoroughly understand how to support our evidence, in persuasive writing.

Title: School should be canceled over 35 degrees.

Bad Example:

I think school should be cancled over 35 degrees because i said so. I get bad grades when i could be surfing. Also my drink bottle warms up and i cant be bothered filling it back up.

Good Example:

Kids can get dehydrated by not drinking enough water. Dehydration can lead to dizzyness or tiredness which will stop kids from concentrating. A lack of concentration will lead to bad grades etc etc.

Similarities:

  • None

Differences:

  • The Bad example was terrible because it had no supportive evidence and it was just one child’s opinion.
  • The Good example was great because not only did it back the arguements up but it did it multiple times.
